For the first time, Mongolia will host the 17th World Horseback Archery Championship — a historic and meaningful event that brings together sport, culture, and tradition. Horseback archery is an essential part of Mongolia’s cultural heritage, with centuries of history. This global event will serve as a unique platform to showcase Mongolian archery traditions, techniques, and values to the world. During the championship, cultural performances, artistic programs, and sports activities will promote our national identity on the international stage. More than 30 countries will send elite archers, coaches, judges, and experts to Mongolia. This presents a valuable opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience regarding training methods, judging systems, and international standards. For the first time in Mongolia, a professional judge training program will be held on the opening day — a major milestone in the development of the sport. In addition, seminars, masterclasses, and skill-building workshops will be organized to strengthen the skills of Mongolian archers. Cultural programs and celebratory events will also be held for international guests and participants, creating unforgettable experiences. This championship marks a significant step in promoting Mongolian horseback archery on a global scale, strengthening national pride, and expanding international cooperation.
